Health Services

LEUSD’s Health Services Department consists of 13 district Registered Nurses (RN) with a School Nurse Credential who oversee the delivery of health services to nearly 21,000 students.

District nurses are licensed registered nurses with a Bachelors or Masters Degree, as well as a School Nurse Credential issued by the California Commission of Teacher Credentialing.

Health Offices are also staffed by health techicians who maintain current CPR and First Aid certification, and are trained by the district nurses.
