The Adult Transition Program (ATP) supports special needs adults ages 18 to 22 and prepares them for adult life. A variety of settings are available to meet the needs of all adult students. Our special needs students who have completed high school with a certificate of completion are encouraged to continue their education through the semester in which they turn age 22. The program is located on the Jean Hayman Training Center campus. Functional living, Independent living and Vocational Skill acquisition are the primary focus. LEUSD's Adult Transition Program combines workplace skills training with IEP-driven curriculum to build self-confidence, individual responsibility, and the motivation for participants to give their best effort.

The school day is from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Before school and after school adult care is not available.
