We understand how difficult this week has been with the fires affecting our community, and we appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. Although we have seen some improvements in fire conditions, several areas in our district remain under evacuation orders.  As a result, all LEUSD schools will be closed tomorrow for students, Friday, September 13, 2024. In addition, the ELOP Saturday program scheduled for Saturday, September 14, 2024, has been canceled. We continue to work closely with our public safety and emergency partners to determine when we can reopen schools.

We will provide another update on Friday, September 13th at 3 PM regarding our next steps to reopen schools.
