As of yesterday afternoon, several areas in our district remain under evacuation orders or warnings. As a result, all LEUSD schools will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, September 12, 2024. We are working closely with our public safety and emergency partners to determine when we can reopen schools.

The closure includes the before- and after-school programs, athletic events, and extracurricular activities. This decision has been made with great care and out of an abundance of caution, prioritizing the safety and well-being of our students, staff, community, and first responders.

We will have an update tomorrow by 3 PM on the current conditions.
