We are pleased to announce the rollout of a new visitor management system at all our school sites as part of our ongoing effort to strengthen campus safety. The new Verkada Visitor Management system is a key component of our layered safety enhancements across LEUSD.
With its user-friendly interface, this new system will streamline the process of screening visitors, contractors, and volunteers entering our schools, replacing the old paper visitor sign-in sheets and making the check-in process more efficient. During regular school hours, all visitors will be kindly requested to present a form of identification; upon approval, the system will issue a temporary visitor badge.
Our aim is to provide a welcoming and secure environment for our families, students, and staff while also fostering a culture of safety and security within our school community.
