The Lake Elsinore Unified School District Board of Trustees will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, October 22, at 4:00 p.m. in follow up to the draft School Reopening Plan 2020-2021, which was approved on October 8. The agenda includes presentations and action items on student schedules, learning models for reopening, and parent survey results. Superintendent Dr. Doug Kimberly will present recommended timelines for school reopening during the second semester of the 2020-21 school year for all grades TK-12, subject to the County’s COVID-19 Risk Tier assignment and state and local health orders. A recommendation to extend Distance Learning for all grades through the end of first semester, December 18, 2020, will also be considered by the Board.
