On October 15, 2015, millions of Californians and people worldwide will participate to learn how to drop, cover, and hold on, during the great shakeout drill. This event originated in California in 2008, and has since become a global earthquake awareness event. LEUSD schools annually participate in this important emergency preparedness exercise.
