Southern California Edison has implemented a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) due to high winds in our area.

The power outage has impacted the phone and internet at our the District office. We will provide an update once power is restored.

All LEUSD school and district offices will be closed to the public November 24, 2024 - November 29, 2024 for fall break.

Although we have seen some improvements in fire conditions, several areas in our district remain under evacuation orders.  As a result, all LEUSD schools will be closed tomorrow for students, Friday, September 13, 2024. In addition, the ELOP Saturday program scheduled for Saturday, September 14, 2024, has been canceled.

All LEUSD schools will be closed today, Thursday, September 12, 2024. We are working closely with our public safety and emergency partners to determine when we can reopen schools.

The closure includes the before- and after-school programs, athletic events, and extracurricular activities.

As the local fire conditions have worsened and additional evacuation orders are now in place, all LEUSD schools will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, September 11, 2024. This includes the before and after-school programs, athletic events, and extra-curricular activities.

In light of the current local fire conditions, all LEUSD schools will be closed today, Tuesday, September 10, 2024. This includes the before and after-school programs, athletic events and extra-curricular activities.

This year are piloting new World Language books and we have narrowed it down to 2 amazing publishers. As parents, you are invited to please come down and take a look at the publisher's book offerings. The textbooks for publisher # A, Vista Higher Learning,  will be on display through September 14th in Buildng A at the district office from 9:00 - 4:00 each day.

Our New Visitor Management System will be in place starting Monday, April 29, 2024. Please remember to bring your ID while visiting school sites. Examples of identification include a Driver's License, State ID, military ID, or a district-issued volunteer badge.
